Day 01: Arrival– Paro – Thimphu
Arrive at Paro International Airport. The flight will be a breathtaking the experience as you will be able to see the treasures of the Himalayas, embodied in majestic forms, such as Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga, Jomolhari, Mount Jichu Drake and others. The landing at Paro will be a thrilling moment, too. Representatives from Bhutan Tours & Luxury Exclusive will meet you at the airport, after which you will drive for about an hour to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital city. After lunch, the rest of the Day will be dedicated to sightseeing. 1. Then, visit King's Memorial Chorten 2.Evening visit Tashichho Dzong 3. Evening time can be spent strolling through the government-run Handicrafts Emporium and local crafts bazaar, to browse through an example of Bhutan's fine traditional arts. Here you can buy hand-woven textiles, Thangkha paintings, masks, ceramics, slate and woodcarvings, jewelry, interesting items made from local materials. Overnight Hotel.
Day 02: Thimphu Vicinity Visit and Paro for Overnight
Early breakfast, drive around 45 minutes from Hotel towards Dochula pass to get the amazing sunrise and an amazing view of Dochula pass (3,100m), offering you the 200 miles panoramic view of eastern Himalayas. During the stopover there, you can also see the 108 stupas (chorten) built around a mound and many different kinds of prayer flags. After lunch, visit the National Library, Zorig Chusum & Then drive to Takin Preserve. The Takin is national animal of Bhutan, and looks like a cross between a cow and goat. And later you can drive back to Paro for overnight. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03: Paro – Taktsang monastery hike
After breakfast, drive towards the based of Tiger’s nest were the famous hike begins. As you hike up you will be struck by the architectural wonder of this most pious Buddhist shrine in Bhutan. Perched some 1000m above the valley, on a cliff overlooking the valley; it would just qualify as one of Bhutan’s wonders. It is said that the legendary Indian saint, Guru Padma Sambhava, flew from Tibet on the back of a tigress to tame five demons, who were opposing the spread of Buddhism in Bhutan in 746 A.D. Hence the name, Taktsang, or the “Tiger’s Lair”. Your day will end with the wonderful walk and blessings from Tiger’s nest and upon returning from Tiger’s nest you can also visit: Kyichu Lhakhang, Ta Dzong (National Museum) Rinpung Dzong A walk through the bridge, over a stone inlaid path, offers a good view of the architectural wonder of the Dzong as well as life around it. It is also the venue of Paro Tshechu, held once a year in the spring. Walk further down crossing the traditional bridge into Paro Town. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04: Departure
After breakfast, you will be driven to Paro International Airport for your journey out of Bhutan.
